The McKissick Center
Where every event feeds a future.
Event center in downtown Liberty, hosting meaningful moments and supporting homebound senior friends.
Venue History
From schoolhouse
to community heart.
Established July 2015.
Not so long ago, the McKissick Center was an abandoned school. Established in July of 2015, it now serves as the home of Pickens County Meals on Wheels and provides a community focal point that exclusively focuses on the three leading threats of aging: hunger, isolation, and loss of independence.
The overarching vision is to use the venue to provide direct programs and services to our senior friends across Pickens County, while also operating a social enterprise that supports our mission all year long. Book your event here to ensure hundreds of seniors can live the nourished lives they deserve.
