Our Mission

Pickens County Meals on Wheels serves hot, weekday meals to over 360 homebound clients in Pickens County daily. Our team of compassionate volunteers is what makes Meals on Wheels special!

Over 34% of Meals on Wheels clients are over the age of 85, making them part of America’s “Greatest Generation.”

You can be an ally in their journey. Your gift, of any amount, will secure the future of this invaluable public service– a service that helps hundreds of seniors maintain their nutritional health, independence and quality of life.

Pickens County Meals on Wheels delivers more than a Just a Meal. We deliver hope.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of everything we do at Meals on Wheels.  Without our volunteers we could not fulfill our mission, and we are thankful for their tireless commitment.

Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer orientation is required for all volunteers prior to beginning their service. Contact Marsha Robertson at 864-712-0289 or email [email protected] to arrange a time for orientation. The session will last less than one hour.
