Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of everything we do at Meals on Wheels.  Without our volunteers we could not fulfill our mission, and we are thankful for their tireless commitment.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the Time; Volunteers have the Heart. – Elizabeth Andrew

This program is designed to provide the social and emotional needs of adults with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia as well as providing respite for the caregiver.  Volunteers are needed to assist with arts and crafts, singing, games, exercise and other socialization activities. Volunteer opportunities are Monday and Wednesday at the Central Community Center from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

We hold several fundraisers throughout the year and need help with the organization, implementation and follow through for each event. Individuals, companies, and organizations can help with these events. Please call us to see which one you or your company would be interested in!

Your company or civic group can volunteer! We offer opportunities for businesses and groups to get involved either through driving teams or special events.
